BHP Kids is a unique fitness program for children.
Compared to team sports and other common fitness activities for kids, we specialize in movement and wellness.
Why is this important?
We have seen in recent years, as our young people become more sedentary or engaged with electronics, that their ability to move well is compromised.
If a young person cannot move well, they tend to move less often.
Wouldn’t you if running around became hard, or you felt like you had to bend against tight muscles? This can be very disheartening for the confidence of a child or teen.
That is why we seek to help them function, and then make them more strong and resilient. Building a resilient adaptable body sets your child up for future success, while building their confidence and self efficacy. In short, they will achieve things they previously could not, and physically can gain a sense of adventure.
Working with other youths, they can develop a sense of camaraderie that is often missed out on if a child does not like the conventional team sports atmosphere.
